Outside the city

Since the island is not big, you can get to most spots within an hour by car.

Jardin Canario — Spain's biggest botanical garden with 600 unique plants that make the Canary Islands a biodiversity hotspot. Charco Azul hike — This short Gran Canaria hike takes you through a quiet local village, up a beautiful green valley and ends up at Charco Azul, a beautiful deep pool with a waterfall.
